The Department of Public Administration at the Kyungpook National University (KNU) in _?xml_:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Daegu, Korea, invites applications for a full-time tenure track position (minimum $ 60,000 annual salary) in all areas of public administration and public policy.
The KNU, the biggest and oldest university in Metropolitan Daegu, was recently identified as one of the 500 world’s best universities. The Department of Public Administration was established in 1971; there are currently eleven full-time professors, all of who studied in the United States or the United Kingdom.
Each candidate should have a Ph.D. degree or be scheduled to acquire one by February 28, 2009 from a higher educational institute outside Korea. Additionally, he or she is expected to have a foreign citizenship. Those candidates who have published articles in refereed journals in the related profession will be preferred. Applications are due November 30, 2008, but we recommend early submission or preliminary inquiry regarding the position.
